Growing up in Sonoma County, I rediscovered the beauty of Northern California after living in Russia for ten years as a photojournalist. I have photographed weddings in such enchanted places as Straus Home Ranch in Marshall, Vine Hill House in Sebastopol, Timber Cove Resort north of Jenner, the Madrona Manor in Healdsburg, the Triple S Ranch in Calistoga and The Presidio in San Francisco.
I have found that the people who choose these beautiful locations feel a true spiritual connection to the place and share with me an appreciation of the unique light and natural wonders of this part of the world.

The Photographer: I will be your photographer, not an associate to take my place. When I do hire a second photographer for larger weddings, I choose artists whose style and values align with mine.
The Approach: My background in photojournalism has enabled me to be unobtrusive and record intimate and real moments on a wedding day and to work with limited time and and less-than-ideal lighting situations.
Deliverables: All wedding assignments include the highest resolution image files for you to share with your family and online. All images are print-ready. I spend many hours fine tuning each final image to achieve color balance, exposure and re-touching.
Experience: I do not make myself the center of attention. I am there to capture the day as it unfolds, only occasionally stepping in to give directions for group portraits. People have described me as remarkably calm during stressful moments. I have learned to accept that not all goes as planned and this is just part of the narrative of your wedding day. Embrace the imperfection!
Reaching Out: I respond to email inquiries within 24 hours. I prefer to meet with couples in person before I commit to a wedding, though I have booked weddings after phone conversations with couples living far from Northern California.
