Ken and Kara's wedding took place on July 27th, 2012 at Vine Hill House in Sebastopol, California.
The amazing backdrop of Mt. St. Helena as well as the wine barrel and wine ritual completed the ceremony. The wedding had a local, rustic California wine country theme and much of the décor was handcrafted by the bride, her family and her bridal party. Rustic old wooden barn signs welcomed guests as they arrived on site. The wood was gathered by the bride’s engineer brother who does a lot of work on houses and the signs were beautifully painted with the help of one of the bridesmaid’s mothers.
The wedding party was stunning and was complete with a natural tux-wearing pup! The bride and her bridesmaids carried green and purple bouquets of cala lilies and orchids pieced together by the florist, Heather Hendrickson. The bride wore green and purple Kate Spade heels which added some pop to the pictures. She wore a satin and lace A-line dress to which she added fabric buttons and a jeweled belt.
Reverend Peadar Dalton, born and raised in Ireland, officiated Ken and Kara's wedding. His humor and insightful words made Ken and Kara's ceremony sacred and inspiring for everyone.
